A welcoming primary school within the London Borough of Enfield is seeking an innovative, solutions-focused, and highly skilled teacher to lead a specialist SEND unit. This warm and inclusive school provides a nurturing, highly personalised learning environment where every pupil is supported to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Personalised Learning: Deliver engaging, differentiated, sensory-rich lessons tailored to individual needs and abilities.
- Staff Leadership: Lead and deploy support staff to provide specialist teaching across 1:1, small-group, and whole-class settings.
- Collaborative Working: Partner with colleagues, parents, therapists, and external professionals to ensure a joined-up therapeutic approach.
- Progress Monitoring: Track pupil progress and contribute to EHCP outcomes, assessments, and annual reviews.
- Learning Environment: Maintain a positive, structured, and inclusive environment that supports learning and wellbeing.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent experience supporting pupils with special educational needs.
- A strong understanding of inclusive and differentiated teaching practices.
- A patient, proactive, and compassionate approach to supporting individual needs.
- Full-time availability, Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
