7 to 19 who require an alternative to traditional mainstream education.
This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape and develop a high-quality Science curriculum while working closely with students who benefit from personalised learning pathways.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver a diverse, engaging Science curriculum tailored to varied learning needs.
- Teach Science through 1:1 sessions, small group learning and vocational workshops.
- Create personalised learning plans and track student progress using data and student insights.
- Collaborate with school leaders and Learning Managers to evaluate teaching quality and implement strategic improvements.
- Mentor and coach colleagues, providing targeted CPD to promote high-quality teaching practices.
- Implement academic interventions to support students in achieving their full potential.
- Uphold all safeguarding, health and safety protocols at all times.
- The Ideal Candidate
- Holds
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) .
- Has extensive practical experience in designing and developing a Science curriculum.
- Has previous experience working within
- SEN or alternative provision environments
(highly desirable).
- Demonstrates strong leadership capabilities and a passion for mentoring teaching staff.
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Is committed to creating an inclusive, engaging and supportive learning environment.
