We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive Nursery and Infants' school in the London Borough of Enfield. Our client is seeking to appoint a patient, dedicated and confident Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs and/or behavioural needs to join their creative and friendly staff team. This is a term-time only position.
The successful candidate will have substantial experience of working with young children with SEN and will be confident in providing dedicated 1:1 support, enabling a child to access learning and thrive within the classroom environment.
The Role:
- Full-time, Monday to Friday 8:30am - 4:00pm
- Supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs
- Working 1:1 and in small groups to help children achieve their potential
- Assisting teachers in creating a positive and engaging learning environment
What We're Looking For:
- Experience working with children or within a school setting preferred
- Passion for supporting children with SEND
- Positive, patient and proactive attitude
- Able to commit for the full academic year
- DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
- Based in or able to commute to Enfield
