The Role
- As a PHCE Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons that develop students' knowledge, confidence and understanding of personal, health, social and citizenship-related topics.
- You will work closely with teaching and support colleagues to ensure lessons are accessible, inclusive and adapted to meet individual learning needs.
- You will help students build the skills and confidence they need to make informed choices and participate positively in school and wider society.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging PHCE lessons for students across a range of abilities.
- Adapt teaching approaches and resources to meet individual learning needs, including special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
- Create a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment where students feel valued and respected.
- Build strong relationships with students, encouraging confidence, participation and engagement.
Requirements
- Must be able to work Monday to Friday 8:30 - 16:00
- Enhanced DBS on the update service
- Have a QTS or relevant experience
- Have experience teaching PHCE, PSHE, Citizenship, Health & Social Care or a related subject
- Have experience working with students with SEND, or a genuine interest in specialist education
