Previous experience working with children, particularly those with additional or special educational needs (SEND), is highly desirable.

The Role

As a Classroom Teaching Assistant, you will

  • Support pupils in the classroom with their learning and development.
  • Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Help create a positive, safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support where required.
  • Assist pupils with additional learning or behavioural needs.
  • Encourage confidence, independence and positive behaviour.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of pupils throughout the school day.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will have

  • Full-time availability, Monday to Friday (8:30am - 4:00pm).
  • Recent experience working with children in a school, nursery, childcare or similar setting.
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEND is desirable but not essential.
  • A positive attitude and genuine passion for supporting children's learning.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • The ability to commute to or work within the High Wycombe area.
