This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience while making a real difference to pupils' education.
Previous experience working with children, particularly those with additional or special educational needs (SEND), is highly desirable.
The Role
As a Classroom Teaching Assistant, you will
- Support pupils in the classroom with their learning and development.
- Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Help create a positive, safe and supportive learning environment.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support where required.
- Assist pupils with additional learning or behavioural needs.
- Encourage confidence, independence and positive behaviour.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of pupils throughout the school day.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will have
- Full-time availability, Monday to Friday (8:30am - 4:00pm).
- Recent experience working with children in a school, nursery, childcare or similar setting.
- Experience supporting pupils with SEND is desirable but not essential.
- A positive attitude and genuine passion for supporting children's learning.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- The ability to commute to or work within the High Wycombe area.
