Are you a Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner looking to take the next step in your career? We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Burnham, Buckinghamshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Early Years professional who is passionate about supporting young children's learning, development and wellbeing within a nurturing and stimulating school environment.
The Role
As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you will:
- Support the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, helping to plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate activities.
- Support children's development across all areas of learning, including communication, physical development and personal, social and emotional development.
- Provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children feel confident and supported.
- Assist with daily nursery routines, including mealtimes, toileting and settling children into the setting.
- Observe and monitor children's progress and contribute to learning journals and development records.
- Build positive and trusting relationships with children, parents and carers.
- Work closely with the class teacher and wider school team to ensure an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Encourage children's confidence, independence and curiosity through play-based learning and engaging activities.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in accordance with school policies and safeguarding procedures.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare or an equivalent recognised qualification.
- Recent experience working within an EYFS, nursery or early years setting.
- A genuine passion for supporting young children's learning and development.
- A warm, patient and nurturing approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A good understanding of the EYFS framework and children's developmental needs.
- The ability to commute to or work within the Burnham area.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
Pay: Competitive rates of pay, dependent on qualifications, experience and skills.
