Envision Education is recruiting enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work in primary schools across Amersham, Buckinghamshire.
We are looking for candidates who already have hands-on experience working with children in an educational setting and are keen to build on those skills within a primary school environment.
Whether you have worked in a nursery, early years setting, primary school or as a classroom support assistant, this could be an excellent opportunity to take the next step in your career.
Previous school or nursery experience is essential. No formal Teaching Assistant qualification is required.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Supporting pupils during lessons and classroom activities.
- Helping children develop early literacy, numeracy and communication skills.
- Providing individual and small-group learning support.
- Supporting pupils who need additional help with their learning or behaviour.
- Assisting with classroom preparation and educational resources.
- Encouraging positive interactions, confidence and independence.
- Helping pupils settle into routines and participate in school life.
- Working closely with teachers to support children's learning and development.
Who Should Apply?
We would love to hear from candidates who have:
- Previous experience in a school, nursery or early years setting.
- Experience supporting children aged 3-11 or a relevant age group.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A calm, patient and encouraging approach.
- An understanding of children's learning and developmental needs.
- Experience supporting children with SEND, which would be advantageous.
- A reliable and professional attitude.
- Availability Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm.
Relevant backgrounds include Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Classroom Assistant, Learning Support Assistant and other school-based support roles.
