Envision Education is looking for an enthusiastic Unqualified Primary Teaching Assistant for a school in Bourne End to start as soon as possible!

We're looking for a Teaching Assistant who has worked with children, young people, or adults with special educational needs, or in a care setting. As a Teaching Assistant, you will apply the following:

  • Being a talented, dedicated and highly motivated educator as an Unqualified Teaching Assistant
  • Support children with emotional and behavioural difficulties to enable them to effectively access the curriculum
  • Display advanced levels of care, concern and ambition for our children as a Teaching Assistant
  • Have relevant skills and experience to serve a diverse student community including learners with ASC and SEMH
  • A positive and adaptable team player who brings humour to the classroom to facilitate a fun, effective learning experience for pupils
  • Be committed to prioritising rapid improvement and sustained academic excellence
  • Support SEND students and deliver activities on a 1:1 and small group basis as a Teaching Assistant
  • Experience in assessing, evaluating, and reporting on pupil progress as a Teaching Assistant

Requirements:

  • Available to work 08:30 to 16:00, Monday to Friday
  • Recent experience working with children in a school or alternative environment is preferential, but you must have previous experience with children in some capacity in the UK
  • Enjoy working with children and seeing them progress with their learning
  • Already have or willing to apply for a Child & Adult enhanced DBS
  • Either live in Bourne End or within a commutable distance
