We are partnering with a supportive and welcoming SEND school in Hillingdon that is looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to support across classes. This is a full‑time role starting ASAP.
Key Responsibilities for a SEND Teaching Assistant:
- Provide classroom, 1:1 and small group support as a Teaching Assistant for pupils including those with SEND
- Work collaboratively, contributing positively to the school team
- Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons
- Observe and assess children's progress, offering valuable feedback to teachers and parents
- Offer constructive feedback to pupils on their progress and achievements
For this role, you will have:
- Previous experience working within a SEND school setting or supporting SEND pupils
- Experience working with children, with a reference to support it
- An enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one
- The ability to commute to Hillingdon or live locally
