This position is for a SEND Teaching Assistant to work within a SEND School in Maidenhead. This school has a warm, caring and vibrant environment which provides support and challenge to ensure that all students, regardless of their starting points, achieve well to go on and lead happy and fulfilled lives. This will be a full-time role, from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm.
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will need to be confident in supporting children on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, as well as assisting the class teacher. You will be expected to work with children of various learning difficulties.
The Role:- Support a child with their learning and development as a SEND Teaching Assistant
- Contribute to creating a safe, supportive & engaging learning environment
- Have experience working with SEND children in a school setting or outside a school setting
- Build a close bond with the child to ensure they feel comfortable both inside & outside the classroom
- Communicate closely with colleagues to ensure the progress of students is prioritised as a SEND Teaching Assistant
- Available Immediately, Mon-Fri, 8:30am to 3:30pm
- MUST have a CHILD ONLY DBS or willing to get one
- Have experience with children in some capacity whereby you can provide a reference
- Live local to Maidenhead or within a commutable distance
