Are you interested in launching your career in education as a Teaching Assistant? We are recruiting a Teaching Assistant to work in a fantastic SEND school in High Wycombe, supporting reception to KS2 students with SEND.

This is a full time role, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a primary setting and have SEND experience, and must be available for the whole academic year.

The role:

  • Assist children in their learning and growth as a Teaching Assistant
  • Contribute to creating a safe, supportive & engaging learning environment
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure progress of students is prioritised
  • Work 1:1 with children with SEND needs to ensure they achieve their developmental milestones

Requirements:

  • Available Immediately
  • Experience working in a primary school as Teaching Assistant and supporting students with SEND
  • Willing to support SEND children as a Teaching Assistant
  • MUST have a CHILD ONLY DBS or be willing to get one
  • Have experience with children in some capacity in the UK where you can provide a reference for
  • Live local to High Wycombe or within a commutable distance

Pay rate is dependent on qualifications, experience and skills.
