We\’re assembling a team of skilled Mechanical Fitters to support high-priority defence programmes at a specialist facility in Coventry. These temporary roles (with strong potential for extension) offer the opportunity to contribute to mission-critical military vehicle integration where precision, quality, and purpose are paramount.
We re currently hiring 10 fitters to join the production team immediately.
What You ll Be Doing
You ll be hands-on with the assembly and integration of mechanical and electrical systems on low-volume, high-specification defence vehicles.
- Assemble and fit mechanical and electrical sub-systems to exacting standards
- Interpret technical drawings and engineering instructions accurately
- Safely and effectively use specialist tools, equipment, and materials
- Inspect components and finished assemblies for quality and precision
- Work closely with Production, Engineering, and R&D teams to meet deadlines
- Contribute to lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement efforts
- Maintain a safety-first mindset and take pride in your craftsmanship
What You ll Bring
