Pay Rate: £27.04 per hour (Inside IR35)

Schedule: 40 Hours/Week | Monday–Friday

Role Purpose: As a Senior Professional (P3), you aren’t just making things look good; you are the architect of system logic. You will be responsible for the end-to-end design and development of user experiences for complex vehicle engineering and architectural applications. You will bridge the gap between abstract business requirements and high-functioning web/mobile interfaces.

Core Responsibilities:

  • User Research & Psychology: Evaluate user sentiment, focusing specifically on ease of use, perception of system value, utility, and task-based efficiency.
  • Interface Strategy: Translate complex user needs into actionable features and functionality for both web and mobile environments.
  • Architecture & Documentation: Develop comprehensive process flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes to communicate high-level design strategies to stakeholders.
  • Project Leadership: Work independently with limited supervision to manage design processes and solve difficult, complex UX problems.
  • Mentorship: Act as a technical lead by coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level design professionals to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Technical Toolset & Mastery: To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate advanced proficiency in the following:
    • Creative Suite: Expert use of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign for high-fidelity assets.
    • Prototyping & Flow: Advanced skills in Visio and Fireworks for mapping system architecture and user flows.
    • Documentation: Ability to use technical design tools to conceptualize strategies that align with engineering and architecture constraints.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Professional Level: Senior Professional (P3) status, typically requiring advanced education and significant hands-on work experience in UX/UE.
  • Residency: Must have been a UK resident for 4-5+ years and possess the Right to Work (No sponsorship available).
  • Problem Solving: Proven track record of managing difficult projects and working through complex logic-based design issues.
