Envisage Recruitment Limited

Location: Gaydon, Warwickshire (Hybrid / Onsite)

Pay Rate: £30.81 per hour (Inside IR35)

Commitment: 40 Hours/Week (Contract, 12 Months with Roll-over)

About the Role:

Envisage Recruitment Ltd. is seeking an experienced, autonomous Senior Professional (P3 Level) Technical Product Development Specialist to join a leading Vehicle Engineering & Architecture team. Focus areas include Electric Vehicles (EV) and EEM Requirements Engineering to pioneer new systems, components, and automotive architectures.

If you thrive when solving complex engineering challenges independently, while occasionally coaching junior team members, this long-term contract position is for you.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive Engineering Innovation: Oversee the development and improvement of new automotive products, sub-systems, electrical/electronic components, and engineering architecture.
  • Manage Requirements Engineering: Focus directly on EEM requirements definition, alignment, and systems engineering execution.
  • Maintain High Standards: Ensure design methodologies strictly align with corporate, scientific, and automotive engineering standards.
  • Ensure Compliance: Analyze quality and safety test results to ensure compliance with strict internal and external regulatory expectations.
  • Deliver Milestones: Monitor product outcomes to guarantee all technical, functional, cost, and strict program timing targets are met.
  • Collaborate & Mentor: Formulate technical business/budget plans, present to cross-functional stakeholders, and review the work of lower-level engineers.

What We’re Looking For

  • Senior Professional (P3 Level): Strong track record of independent project delivery with limited supervision.
  • Domain Expertise: Solid background in Technical Product Development, Systems Engineering, or R&D within an engineering architecture framework (EV sector highly preferred).
  • Core Competencies: Proficiency in EEM Requirements Engineering, Quality/Safety Compliance Testing, and Program Tracking.
  • Education: Advanced education (Degree or Master’s in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, Systems Engineering, or equivalent) combined with extensive professional environment experience.
