Main duties and responsibilities

  • Manage the cycle count process and reconcile discrepancies and manage stock movement between locations.
  • Actively manage the availability of stock for the customer ensuring locked stock is kept to a minimum.
  • Analysing system data to produce timely reporting for the customer and management team.
  • Ensure the stock layout is optimized to deliver efficiency savings ensuring different stock types are zoned accurately.
  • Planning efficient space utilisation for future stock holding increases/decreases.
  • Keeping up to date with the latest Company processes and procedures.
  • Effectively communicate and implement change through formal and informal processes and procedures.
  • Influencing at all levels to ensure stock accuracy is on the site agenda.
  • Ensure all stock related activities are in line with H and S procedures and policies.
  • Develop, maintain, and audit internal stock operating procedures and inventory strategy.
  • Champion a proactive Health & Safety culture.
  • Be self-driven and use time efficiently to manage own workload.
  • Understand the need to be flexible as the workload requires.
