MAIN GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

Technical authority for HCP4 (High Performance Computer 4) on BEV/PHEV electrical architectures, in depth technical knowledge and guidance, to support and ensure achievement of business objectives and technical development, delivering on time and within budget.

RESPONSIBILITY/TASKS AND CUSTOMERS

  • Accountable for deliverables to a specified timeframe, quality and cost. Ability to demonstrate deliverables status at any time with Key Performance Indicators.
  • Developing and maintaining specialist technical and business knowledge and capability, to ensure appropriate technical direction is provided.
  • Accountable for developing and influencing the strategic technical direction within specialist area of HCP4.
  • Maintain effective communication internally and within Group.

KEY COMPETENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Appropriate experience working in the Automotive Industry in ECU Delivery, customer facing systems and related parts/systems/sub-systems.
  • Experience of the product development process from concept to production.
  • Strong influencing skills and communication, with a commitment to building positive relationships with other functions and the team.
  • Demonstrable experience of process improvement activities within the specific technology.
  • Higher Engineering degree or equivalent. Preferably Chartered Engineer, or with a desire to achieve/currently working towards Chartered status.
