PQ Engineer This role will be part of the PQ function and will provide support to the Lead Engineer. The role will primarily cover Interior Trim Perceived Quality, in support of projects in the design stages of the program.  Additional support to be provided on request for part / assembly maturation processes. Root cause analysis support for production / design related concerns for company  Review and validation of system integration for Interior themes  Development of PQ techniques and processes for company  Supporting mentorship and knowledge transfer to PQ methods and processes Main Activities & Tasks  Will report to the Head of team (PQ Lead Engineer will manage daily activities)  CAD operation skills essential – The successful candidate will be able to create and manipulate geometry for primary communication of Gap & Rad Planning PQ Requirements. (Expectation is that at least 50% time utilisation will be for geometry generation and amendment)  Catia V5 operative skills – 2D data & sectional data. (Key module utilisation: Part Design & Geometric Surface Design)  TCUA (Team Centre) PLM utilisation is desirable  Generation and development of the PQ activities for Interior Trims  Support PQ Lead Engineer on complete vehicle activities  Generation and maintenance of the Gap & Rad Plan  Support the PQ Lead in mentorship of engineering teams in understanding and applying designs and engineering execution which achieves PQ targets. Demonstrate confidence in considering the holistic requirements of parts and systems (die and draft angles, grain depths, weak steel conditions, lifter integration, TPL position, assembly sequence, tooling access, accommodation of tolerance & build variation, appropriate radii, minimum flange lengths, clipping and locator positions, etc)  Support the PQ Lead in performing digital reviews and sign-off events for PQ related activities on Interior systems  Development of Product Attribute Targets based upon the Product Attribute PALS positioning for PQ  Develop Scope of Work with key deliverables identified  Assist with the Benchmarking of competitor vehicles & reporting findings  Support Optical Quality & Perceived Quality development & assessment activities  Work with PQ Team overseas standards, processes and guidelines
