Salary: £28,000 rising to £30,600 after successful probation & skills test

Perm: Monday to Friday - 8am – 5pm

We are looking for a practical and motivated Vehicle Converter / Vehicle Fitter to join our growing workshop team in Banbury. You will be involved in building high-quality campervans from start to finish, including interior fitting, basic electrics, and plumbing installations. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with existing practical or trade skills, who is looking to learn full campervan conversion techniques. Full training will be provided, but some experience working with tools or in a trade environment is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fitting campervan interiors (units, beds, storage, fixtures)
  • Assisting with 12V electrical systems (leisure batteries, lighting, wiring, split charge systems)
  • Installing basic plumbing systems (water tanks, pumps, sinks, taps, waste systems)
  • Insulating and lining van interiors
  • Working from build plans and instructions
  • Ensuring high-quality, safe and professional finishes
  • Working as part of a small workshop team

  • Practical hands-on experience in a trade or workshop environment, such as:
    • Carpentry / joinery
    • Vehicle repair or fitting
