About Us
Newcastle-under-Lyme Dental Practice is a long‑established private practice based in a beautiful Victorian building opposite Newcastle High School. Conveniently located near Stoke with easy access to the M6, our six‑surgery practice has been caring for patients for over 50 years. We’re particularly well known for cosmetic dentistry, implants, and Invisalign treatment. You’ll be joining a friendly, knowledgeable team who genuinely enjoy mentoring and supporting each other. We’re proud of the warm, encouraging environment we’ve built for both patients and colleagues.
What You’ll Be Doing
As an Apprentice Dental Nurse, you’ll play an important part in the smooth running of the practice while building your skills every day. With support from the team, you will:
- Assist clinicians during a wide range of dental treatments
- Prepare and maintain clinical areas to a high standard
- Decontaminate and sterilise instruments in line with practice protocols
- Help patients feel comfortable and at ease before, during and after treatment
- Keep accurate patient records
- Support with stock control and general surgery organisation
- Follow all health and safety and cross‑infection control procedures
You’ll gain valuable hands‑on experience across different treatments and gradually take on more responsibility as your confidence grows.
