Working Pattern

This role follows a regular weekly schedule:

  • Monday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
  • Thursday: 8:00am – 6:00pm
  • Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm

There will also be a requirement to support the practice with occasional Saturday mornings until 1:00pm as part of the team rota.

The Role

As a Dental Nurse, you will work closely with our clinicians to ensure patients receive outstanding care throughout their treatment journey. You'll play a key role in maintaining clinical standards, supporting patient wellbeing, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing chairside support during a range of dental procedures
  • Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment
  • Supporting patients before, during, and after treatment
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and clinical documentation
  • Following infection prevention and cross-contamination procedures
  • Assisting with decontamination and sterilisation processes
  • Supporting stock control and ordering
  • Working collaboratively with clinicians and colleagues to deliver an excellent patient experience

About You

  • GDC-registered
  • Experienced within a dental practice environment
  • Professional, reliable, and patient-focused
  • Organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communicating with patients and colleagues
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team
  • Committed to maintaining high clinical and compliance standards

Desirable Skills

While not essential, the following would be advantageous:

  • Experience assisting with advanced or specialist dental procedures
  • Knowledge of digital dentistry and dental software systems
  • Additional post-qualification certifications
