Looking to start a new career in dentistry? We can help! We’re looking for a full-time Apprentice / Trainee Dental Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team. Our practice is located on Bath Road Thatcham, Berkshire. Commitment to quality and exceeding customer expectations is the driving force at Cedar Dental Care. We aim to provide high-quality routine and specialist dental care to all our patients in an efficient, friendly, helpful, clinical environment. We are committed to training our team to the highest standards and will support your career.
Working hours are: Mon - Fri 7.30am - 8.00pm and Sat 8.00am - 1.00pm on a rota.

What do Dental Nurses do in practice?
- Have the ability to remain calm under pressure and to put patients at ease
- Develop the skills to assist the Dentist chair side with the performance of all clinical treatments within the surgery
- Provide our patients with the highest level of care during a range of procedures
- Update computer records and taking notes
- Prepare instruments and materials during treatments
- Clean surgeries to a high level, maintaining strict cross-infection controls
- Undergo training and studying as required to develop your skills
Qualifications
To apply for an Apprenticeship with us you must have GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or above OR Functional Skills Level 2.
