About the role

As a Commercial Advisor, you will manage and deliver projects to a high standard, often acting as a primary client contact with support from senior colleagues. The role involves providing commercial, market, and sector-specific expertise, while contributing to the development of a specialist practice area. You will work collaboratively across teams, supporting project delivery and resource coordination, and contribute to business growth through client engagement and development activities. A particular focus of the role is advising on energy and infrastructure projects, including renewable energy.

  • Building and maintaining client relationships, identifying needs, and developing proposals
  • Overseeing the commercial performance of projects to ensure quality and profitability

Ideal experience

  • Experience in commercial consulting or a similar role within industry or investment environments
  • Involvement in large-scale infrastructure or energy projects, ideally within low-carbon sectors
  • Experience in project management, business case development, reporting, and due diligence
  • Strong client-facing experience, including proposal development and advisory delivery

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant field (e.g. business, economics, law, finance, engineering, or sciences)
  • Postgraduate qualification desirable but not essential
  • Relevant professional qualifications or memberships are advantageous
