Seeking a Heat Network Design Engineer for an exciting opportunity decarbonising the UK heat infrastructure. Our client is driving the shift towards a net zero future by decarbonizing heat in urban areas throughout the UK.
You will have the opportunity to work on projects for industry leading organisations in a rapidly growing scale up.
About you:
Essential:
– Degree in mechanical, chemical, or electrical engineering.
– Post-graduate experience in energy consultancy.
– Proficiency in heat networks with knowledge of CIBSE/ADE CP1.
-Experience in modelling software and graphical tools; GIS, EnergyPro, Hydraulic modelling packages, AutoCad, Revit, Bluebeam and similar.
– Strong data manipulation skills.
– Project management expertise.
– Dedication to decarbonisation.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
– Problem-solving and creative thinking skills.
– Goal of achieving chartered professional status.
Desirable:
– Techno-economic modeling capabilities.
