This is a unique opportunity to lead a groundbreaking project in developing one of the world’s first standardized regulatory frameworks within the industry.

About the Role:

As Policy Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping a comprehensive, energy-specific regulatory framework. This framework will support international efforts in renewable energy, waste management, environmental quality, and health & safety. You’ll work closely with global stakeholders, including government bodies, industry experts, and association members, while collaborating with our team to drive the project forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creation of the standardized regulatory framework.
  • Conduct policy and regulatory research on renewable energy, waste management, and environmental standards.
  • Collaborate with international stakeholders to gather input and align with best practices.
  • Facilitate workshops and consultations to refine the framework.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and provide insights to stakeholders.
  • Manage project timelines and ensure deliverables are met.
  • Present updates and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Advocate for the adoption of the framework with policymakers and key influencers.
  • Support ongoing policy initiatives within the sector.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, public policy, or related field
  • Proven project management experience, ideally in renewable energy or environmental sectors.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and policies related to renewable energy and waste management.
  • Leadership / Management / Mentoring experience
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and work with diverse stakeholders.
  • Passion for sustainability and promoting the circular economy.
