This is a unique opportunity to lead a groundbreaking project in developing one of the world's first standardized regulatory frameworks within the industry.
About the Role:
As Policy Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping a comprehensive, energy-specific regulatory framework. This framework will support international efforts in renewable energy, waste management, environmental quality, and health & safety. You'll work closely with global stakeholders, including government bodies, industry experts, and association members, while collaborating with our team to drive the project forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the creation of the standardized regulatory framework.
- Conduct policy and regulatory research on renewable energy, waste management, and environmental standards.
- Collaborate with international stakeholders to gather input and align with best practices.
- Facilitate workshops and consultations to refine the framework.
- Monitor regulatory developments and provide insights to stakeholders.
- Manage project timelines and ensure deliverables are met.
- Present updates and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
- Advocate for the adoption of the framework with policymakers and key influencers.
- Support ongoing policy initiatives within the sector.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, public policy, or related field
- Proven project management experience, ideally in renewable energy or environmental sectors.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and policies related to renewable energy and waste management.
- Leadership / Management / Mentoring experience
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage complex projects and work with diverse stakeholders.
