Previous IT / Cybersecurity Account Management experience is essential. Microsoft suite / Azure knowledge is highly desirable. Medium to large enterprise account sales and account management experience preferred.
Are you an experienced MSP Account Director or Strategic IT Account Manager who thrives on building long-term client partnerships and driving technology-led growth? We are looking for a commercially driven, technically credible IT Account Director to manage and grow a portfolio of medium and large business clients. This is a strategic, relationship-led role focused on customer success, roadmap development and account expansion within a fast-growing Managed Service Provider.
This is not a cold-hunting position. It is about owning relationships, delivering value, and identifying commercial opportunities within an established client base.
The Role
You will act as a trusted technology advisor to your clients, helping them navigate digital transformation, cloud adoption and cyber security strategy.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning and growing a portfolio of managed services accounts
- Conducting monthly and quarterly QBRs (face-to-face)
- Building and presenting detailed technology roadmaps
- Identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities across IT support, cloud and security
- Translating business goals into practical Microsoft and infrastructure solutions
- Working closely with technical and solutions teams to deliver best-in-class service
- Maintaining high customer satisfaction and NPS scores
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years’ experience within an MSP or Managed Services environment
- Strong background in IT support, IT services and cyber security
- Proven track record of exceeding account growth targets
- Experience presenting to and negotiating with C-level stakeholders
- Confident running QBRs and executive-level meetings
- Strong technical understanding of:
- Microsoft 365
- Azure
- Windows Server
- Endpoint security, EDR, MFA
- Antivirus and security best practices
You must be commercially focused, relationship-driven and comfortable having technical conversations in a clear, business-led way.
