Role Overview

We are seeking a confident, commercially aware and relationship-focused Pre-Construction Manager to join our growing team. This role is responsible for guiding opportunities from initial enquiry through to contract award. You will become the primary point of contact for prospective clients, understanding their business, workplace challenges and project objectives while working closely with our design, estimating and delivery teams to develop solutions that secure their confidence and ultimately their business. This is not a traditional sales role. Success comes from building trust, understanding client needs, managing opportunities professionally and winning projects that are right for both the client and the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • ·Lead client meetings, site visits and project brief discussions.
  • ·Develop strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • ·Manage opportunities from enquiry through to contract award.
  • ·Coordinate design, costing and proposal development activities.
  • ·Prepare and present proposals, budgets and commercial submissions.
  • ·Take ownership of securing projects and achieving agreed sales targets.
  • ·Ensure smooth handover into the project delivery team.
  • ·Support wider business development activities in quieter periods.

Experience & Skills

  • ·Experience within commercial interiors, fit-out, construction, architecture or a related industry.
  • ·Strong client relationship management and communication skills.
  • ·Commercial awareness and negotiation capability.
  • ·Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • ·Experience managing multiple opportunities or stakeholders simultaneously.
