Join the Wakefield Council Passenger Transport team as a Casual Driver Attendant providing a transport service for vulnerable citizens, ensuring safe and comfortable travel to and from their homes.

Provide professional caring transport service for elderly, disabled people, and children. Drive and assist passengers, carrying out associated administration duties. Work as casual relief driver/attendant with no set days or hours, often covering short notice shifts. Work within set guidelines and a flexible approach to working hours.

Qualifications

  • A current full driving licence with several years driving experience.
  • Category D1 (9–16 seat minibus) driving licence.
  • Experience operating adapted vehicles desirable.
  • Pass a MIDAS scheme minibus driving assessment.
