We’re looking for a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader to join our team in Selby.
The role
As our Grounds Maintenance Team Leader, you will be responsible for supervising staff as part of a team to undertake a wide range of grounds maintenance tasks and duties including:
- Sports pitch marking
- Hedge cutting
- Shrub and rose bed maintenance
- The use of grass cutters and other machinery
What you will bring
To be successful you will have experience in:
- Managing staff and leading a team
- Working within grounds maintenance
- The use of ride-on and pedestrian grass cutting machinery
- Knowledge and understanding of health and safety at work
- Knowledge of play park inspections to ROSPA standard
- A full driving licence as the role covers the district
