Overview

We are recruiting for the above post based at Heron Road, Exeter.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, delivery, and evaluation of complex and high‑profile programmes that align with the strategic objectives and priorities of the Asset Management Group and the wider organisation.
  • Manage and coordinate multiple stakeholders, resources, risks, and issues across the programme lifecycle, ensuring effective communication and engagement at all levels.
  • Apply and promote best practices in programme management, governance, and quality assurance, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners, including contractors, consultants, customers, and community groups.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement and innovation of the Asset Management Group, sharing your knowledge and experience with others and identifying opportunities for learning and development.

Location and Working Arrangement

Hybrid working is available. Our main depot is in Exeter, and travel across the county is required. Options to work from satellite depots or offices can be discussed at interview.

Qualifications

  • BSc or BEng degree in Civil Engineering or a related subject.
  • Incorporated Engineer (IEng) status (or equivalent).
