City of Doncaster employs around 4,300 staff, who work together with Team Doncaster partners to deliver a wide range of services meeting the needs of those who live, work and visit the area. The Council provides a range of vital services at the heart of the community, as well as investing in exciting and ambitious projects that keep Doncaster firmly on the map.
We are currently recruiting for an Engineer to work within an engineering team delivering all aspects of planned maintenance, management, and administration of the highway network. The team is currently delivering an increased capital funding allocation for structural maintenance of its highway assets.
This position will include a role which involves the provision of winter services.
We are looking for a hardworking and conscientious person to work in a busy environment, providing an essential and valuable service to our customers, who can build effective relationships with customers and relevant partners.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working within an operational Highways Environment, have a good working knowledge of specialist highway preventative treatments, be well-organised, flexible, and have good communication skills.
