We're looking for dedicated Outreach Operatives to support our waste and recycling awareness campaigns across the Haringey and Enfield boroughs, as well as letter distributors to join our sustainable transport and Highways team.About the Role:You will be responsible for:Delivering important council information to residents (letters and leaflets)Stickering waste and recycling bins as part of local engagement and compliance projectsWorking outdoors in all weather conditionsWalking for up to 6 hours per dayThis is a flexible, ad hoc position, with work offered depending on the projects available. Ideal for those who can adapt to changing schedules and locations.You must be:Physically fit and comfortable with long-distance walkingPunctual, reliable, and serious about your responsibilitiesA good team playerFlexible with your working hours and locationsBased in the borough of Haringey or EnfieldAble to travel independently to various locations across the boroughsAs this is an ad hoc role, this position is offered on a self-employed basis. Applicants must be eligible to work as self-employed and will be responsible for managing their own tax and National Insurance contributions.A full project briefing will be provided at the interview stage. You must be ready to represent the council professionally and engage positively with the public where needed.
