The roleWe’re looking for a confident and collaborative programme finance manager to support the financial aspects of our loan and grant programmes, particularly within the transport and service delivery teams.In this role, you will lead on contractual reporting, business critical projects and be the key link between our programme delivery and finance teams, ensuring we manage public funds responsibly and deliver great customer service.This is a great opportunity to contribute to meaningful climate action while shaping how we manage and report on high-value financial support schemes.The teamYou will be part of our service delivery team, which manages government funded loans and grants that help people make sustainable changes to their homes and transport. What you will doOversee the financial governance of all loan and grant schemes.Oversee financial planning, forecasting and reporting for loan and grant schemes.Ensure accurate forecasting, regular reconciliation of budgets, and timely delivery of key reports, including quarterly fund balance statements.Act as a key contact for government funders, providing accurate and timely financial updates.Collaborate closely with finance colleagues to align financial data with programme activity.What you will bringExperience managing financial reporting, forecasting and governance within a programme or operational context.Great communication and stakeholder management skills.Stakeholder management skills, demonstrating integrity and diplomacy.For more information, please see the job description on our website.BPSS checks includeVerification of identityVerification of right to work in the UKVerification of your previous 3 years of employment history, including periods spent overseasA basic criminal record check (DBS), and where relevant, criminal record information from countries where you have lived for significant periodsInformation obtained will only be used for the purposes of assessing your suitability for the role.
