About The Role Join WWT at an exciting time of growth and use your financial expertise to help deliver our ambitions.
As a Finance Business Partner, you'll work closely with budget holders across the organisation, building trusted relationships and providing timely financial insight.
You'll help managers understand financial performance, identify opportunities and risks, and ensure resources are used effectively to maximise our impact.
You'll also contribute to improving financial processes and the reporting cycle, supporting the continuous development of the finance function as WWT evolves.
We're looking for a qualified or part-qualified finance professional with strong technical accounting skills, excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, and a customer-focused approach.
You'll be confident explaining financial information to non-financial colleagues, resolving complex accounting issues, and managing competing priorities whilst maintaining attention to detail.
The role also provides the opportunity to assist the annual budget, forecasting and audit processes.
You'll have excellent MS Excel skills and an awareness of charity accounting.
Occasional travel to other WWT locations will be required.
About You We would love to hear from you if you: Hold, or are working towards, a recognised accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, CIPFA, MAAT or equivalent), or have significant relevant experience.
Have experience producing or supporting management accounts, budgets and forecasts, and can translate financial information into meaningful insights.
Enjoy building strong working relationships and partnering with managers to support decision-making and improve financial understanding.
Have strong analytical skills and are confident interpreting complex financial data and explaining it to both finance and non-finance audiences.
Are highly organised, detail-focused and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
Have advanced Excel and financial systems skills, with the ability to solve problems and improve reporting processes.
Can confidently influence and challenge stakeholders at all levels in a professional, collaborative and customer-focused way.
Are willing to travel occasionally to other WWT sites when required; a full driving licence would be beneficial to support travel across locations

Working: This role is suitable for hybrid working, with a combination of home and on-site working at a WWT wetland centre, subject to team and business requirements.
