This is an exciting opportunity to join the Yorkshire Marine Nature Partnership at a pivotal time for marine and coastal environmental management.We seek an ambitious and enthusiastic individual to help to drive collaboration, influence positive change, and deliver meaningful outcomes for Yorkshire's unique and diverse marine environment.As a key member of our team, you will build and maintain strong relationships with local, regional and national partners, bringing together organisations, communities and stakeholders around shared priorities for marine nature recovery. Using excellent communication and engagement skills, you will foster active cross-sector collaboration, strengthen community connections and help to turn ideas into action.We seek a highly organised, self-motivated individual who thrives on managing multiple priorities. Applying project management skills, you will identify and develop new opportunities, support funding applications and help to secure investment that enables the delivery of ambitious environmental projects across Yorkshire's coast and seas.A key focus of the role will include supporting the development and implementation of a strategic approach to intertidal ecological enhancement across Yorkshire. Working closely with the Development Officer, who will provide ongoing support and guidance, you will contribute to the development of regional strategies, engage with local communities and explore new opportunities for coastal habitat enhancement.An understanding of Yorkshire's coastline and its connection to wider marine and terrestrial ecosystems will be highly valuable.The Yorkshire Marine Nature Partnership works across North and East Riding of Yorkshire and is hosted by East Riding of Yorkshire Council.
