About the Role
Planning, delivering, and reviewing environmental noise and vibration projects across a wide range of sectors. Working directly with clients, regulators and multidisciplinary teams, you will shape impactful projects while developing your expertise within a supportive, high‑performing team.
Responsibilities
- Plan, conduct acoustic surveys and produce clear, concise technical reports.
- Develop calculations and models to assess environmental noise and vibration impacts.
- Review and deliver projects in collaboration with clients, regulators and multidisciplinary teams.
- Provide technical leadership on projects.
Qualifications
- Degree in Acoustics or a closely related discipline, plus an acoustics diploma.
- Full Member of the Institute of Acoustics (MIOA).
- Minimum four years’ experience in acoustic consultancy or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of acoustic principles and environmental noise assessment.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Chartered or Incorporated status is ideal.
- Experience using CadnaA or SoundPlan.
- Familiarity with GIS and/or CAD tools.
- UK wind farm noise assessment experience.
- Knowledge of underwater noise.
- Experience in quality assurance processes.
