Partner, REACH, Sustainable Product & Supply Chain ERM is seeking a motivational leader with expertise in chemical regulations to join our team in the UK. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of EU and GB REACH and other chemical/REACH‑like regulations, and experience preparing dossiers and managing regulatory processes such as safety data sheets, risk assessment, strategy, and authorisation. The role involves working closely with clients across Industrial Chemicals, Manufacturing, Energy, and Pharmaceutical / Health‑care to deliver innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic business plans, lead and deliver performance results to expand ERM's Sustainable Product & Supply Chain team and client base.
  • Drive double‑digit profitable growth across targeted sectors through innovative service delivery and market engagement.
  • As a senior ‘seller/doer’, personally win project work annually with support from peers, account directors and technical experts; identify and develop new opportunities, craft effective technical proposals, and grow business with new and existing clients.
  • Be client‑facing, build key client relationships to meet business development needs.
  • Design and direct large projects and multi‑person project teams; achieve client expectations for scope, budget, schedule, and quality.
  • Provide people leadership – lead, coach and mentor consultants to deliver high‑quality work and ensure continuous development.
  • Actively promote and cross‑sell ERM’s diverse service areas to drive broader client impact.
  • Leverage ERM’s global network, working closely with offices across EMEA and other regions to provide integrated solutions to clients.

Qualifications

  • Strong working knowledge of EU and GB REACH and other chemical/REACH‑like regulations.
  • Direct experience with dossiers and regulatory processes such as safety data sheets, risk assessment, strategy, and authorisation.
  • Experience with international chemical regulations such as TSCA, FIFRA, OSHA, UN GHS or emerging market product regulation and registration.
  • Senior business development experience; proven track record of generating profitable growth and securing new projects.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management and client‑facing skills.
  • Leadership experience – ability to coach, mentor and lead consultants in a high‑performing team environment.
