The Data Protection Manager is responsible for day-to-day ownership of data protection compliance at ERM, working closely with key stakeholders in Legal, Compliance, HR, and IT. They develop data protection procedures, guidelines, and controls across the data lifecycle—from data collection, processing, storage, transfer, to disposal. They also provide technical advice in partnership with Data Protection Officer service providers on matters related to data protection compliance.

This role acts as the operational contact within the company, familiar with internal structures, processes, and issues. It serves as the interface between ERM and external data protection suppliers.
