The Role
Seeking to strengthen their delivery team with a Project Director overseeing a £150m project in Winchester on the CMDP Joint Venture Framework. You will report to the Programme Director and be responsible for the overall project execution, safety, quality, and client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote safety and delivery standards
- Implement Business Management System (BMS) throughout project phases
- Maintain client and stakeholder relationships
- Ensure resource availability and team responsibilities are clear
- Plan, monitor, and control project delivery
- Prepare and approve construction plans and method statements
- Manage project records and non-conformities
- Handle commercial aspects, forecasts, and estimates
- Ensure compliance with Quality, Safety, and Environmental policies
- Maintain technical knowledge of water and wastewater projects
- Manage project from conception to client acceptance
Essential Experience & Qualifications
- Proven project management in water industry or similar multi-disciplinary projects
- Degree in construction, engineering, or related field
- Project Management Qualification (PMQ) or equivalent
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Experience in project delivery, risk management, and contractual negotiations
- Knowledge of NEC and/or IChemE contracts
- Understanding of CDM and health & safety regulations
Desirable Qualifications
- Chartered status with relevant institution
- NEC Project Manager Accreditation
- Experience with water and wastewater treatment plants
