About the Role
Cura Terrae Water Limited is seeking a practical and motivated Installation Engineer to support the delivery of water and environmental monitoring projects. This is a hands-on, field-based role focused on the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of monitoring systems and associated infrastructure across a range of UK client sites. You’ll play a key role in ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction while delivering reliable environmental monitoring solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and maintain monitoring systems to project specifications
- Conduct site surveys to assess requirements, constraints, and risks
- Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and installation plans
- Carry out fault finding, maintenance, and repairs on installed systems
- Ensure all work complies with RAMS, health & safety, and environmental standards
- Support installation planning and coordinate with internal teams
- Liaise professionally with clients and stakeholders on-site
- Complete accurate installation records and documentation
- Identify and report defects, risks, and opportunities for improvement
About You
- Practical, hands-on individual with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Understanding of mechanical/electrical systems or installation environments
- Confident working independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills with a professional approach on-site
- Full UK driving licence required
- Basic understanding of health & safety practices (RAMS, risk assessments)
- Experience in light civils or construction environments

- CSCS card or equivalent
