Shape the future of environmental services by leading winning bids. We’re looking for a skilled Bid Manager to join Cura Terrae Water & Environmental Management services, formerly EMS (Environmental Monitoring Solutions) where you’ll take ownership of producing high-quality, client-focused tenders and proposals across the environmental sector, with a particular emphasis on water quality monitoring projects and services.
This is a critical role that ensures Cura Terrae secures new business by developing compelling submissions that reflect our technical expertise, sustainable values, and customer-first approach. You’ll manage the full bid lifecycle, from qualification to submission, working closely with technical experts and business development colleagues to craft persuasive, commercially competitive tenders.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and coordinate the full bid lifecycle, ensuring timely, compliant, and high-quality submissions.
- Work with technical experts and partners to produce clear, compelling, and client-focused proposals.
- Develop and maintain standard bid materials while defining win themes and differentiators.
- Align bids with business strategy through strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration.
- Drive continuous improvement by analysing outcomes, tracking market trends, and refining bid processes.
What You’ll Bring
Experience & Background
- Proven success managing tenders and proposals, ideally in environmental, water quality, or engineering sectors.
- Knowledge of public procurement frameworks (e.g., DEFRA, Environment Agency, utilities).
- Experience working with technical experts to produce client-focused submissions.
