Overview
We are currently looking for a highly capable Crew Leader to join our growing team in Sheffield leading a small crew of field engineers delivering projects and services in line with client expectations and the Cura Terrae Customer Journey.
The role…
Based within the Water Survey Team, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management for the installation and maintenance of new and ongoing projects. You’ll lead a small crew of Field Service Engineers ensuring high standards of our SHEQ policies and procedures are adhered to.
You’ll be required to travel and work away from home, work in the outdoor elements and be able to work flexibly adapting to changing work schedules.
You’ll be responsible for providing customer support through product knowledge, therefore dexterity and the ability to quickly familiarise yourself with new products and applications is essential.
As part of our investment in people you’ll coach and support the development of Field Engineers to further their knowledge and skills.
You’ll work effectively as part of a growing team to enhance and embed processes, driving continuous improvement within the Water Survey department.
The installation and maintenance work will require you to enter and work in confined spaces within the waste-water networks, full training provided.
You’ll have the opportunity to make a positive impact to the operational delivery of the team and contribute to the overall success of the company.
Responsibilities
About you…
It is expected that the Crew Leader will possess proven experience of problem solving, management and work delegation as part of an engineering team.
You’ll have previous experience of installation and maintenance within flow/water quality equipment environment.
You’ll have a flexible mindset with the ability to adapt to changing work schedules and comfortable working away from home.
Good communication skills are essential to ensure updates and instructions are clear and the team adhere to safe operation of the company’s procedures, protocols and health and safety polices.
You’ll be eager, diligent and safety conscious with a track record of owning problems and taking them through to successful completion. In this customer facing role you’ll provide information through strong professional engaging skills.
You must hold a UK driving licence.
