Job Title: Project Manager
Location: South East Region – Hybrid, mixture of visiting sites and home working
Salary: Negotiable DOE
Hours: 42.5 hours per week Monday to Friday
Vehicle: Choice of company vehicle or car allowance
Environmental Essentials are a well-established asbestos company with 3 offices across the UK and an excellent reputation for delivering a first class, quality focused service to a number of very high-profile clients. Our expansion, continued growth and recent major contract wins means that we are looking for a Project Manager to join the team in our South East location to help us to deliver our ambitious growth plans.

The Job Role
- Attend to enquiries, provide technical advice, devise service solutions and fee proposals
- Agree, with the Ops manager, appropriate budgets and allocation of resources for your projects
- Establish accurate scope of works for each project in agreement with client stakeholders
- Produce Service Level Agreements for each contract and communicate effectively to all members of the contract team
- Conduct thorough site specific risk assessments and ensure effective H&S arrangements throughout the contract duration
- Maximise efficiency/productivity to ensure budgetary figures are attained, through monitoring programs of work.
- Ability to work under own initiative, effectively managing time to achieve the role objectives.
- Separate Excellent communication and leadership into two lines (adding Excellent communication skills, demonstrated by using appropriate channels to convey information effectively).
- Engage with staff through regular site visits, safety audits and team briefings
- Assist in the maintenance of the company’s UKAS accreditation through ensuring quality of service and a proactive approach to monitoring of standards
- Line manage and support field staff assigned to you.
About You
- Extensive industry experience
- Minimum P402, P403, P404 (or equivalent) and experience of managing complex on site projects
- Excellent IT skills (Microsoft Office)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work under own initiative, effectively managing time to achieve the role objectives.
