The Job Role
We are looking for a Technical Reviewer to join our head office team in Silverdale, Newcastle under Lyme.
The role is responsible for assessing the quality of technical asbestos surveying and sampling data, handwritten plans and in-house CAD plans, ensuring reports are technically accurate to issue to the client.
- Key Accountabilities
- To assess the technical accuracy of report data, certificates and plans in accordance with in house contractor and legislative/UKAS requirements.
- Liaise with Project Managers and field staff with respect to amendments, plans and laboratory analysis.
- Ensuring potential issues and trends are noticed, recorded and reported to the relevant stakeholder.
- Ensuring data issues are being communicated and addressed in a timely manner so there are no report delays in report delivery to the client.
- Performance Indicators
- Ability to maintain a consistent level of performance with respect to both standard of work and productivity.
- Work and deliver in line with client KPI’s.
- Escalate trends and NCW’s to the Technical Review Supervisor.
Skills and Competencies
- Experience of processing and checking data.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Experience of working on Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience of working in the asbestos industry or the desire to gain this knowledge through research.
- Ability to demonstrate in-house training, testing and authorisation for this particular task.
- Ability to effectively communicate with on-site staff, managers and laboratory staff.
- A problem-solving attitude and able to apply a methodical approach to work.
- Ability to assess, prioritise and organise workload in line with project deadlines.
