Due to expansion and continued growth, we are looking for Trainee Asbestos Analyst to join our team in the Scotland Region. To become qualified as an Asbestos Analyst there is a requirement for an initial training period of 3 to 6 months. You will be assisting a qualified member of our team to carry out asbestos analytical services such as air monitoring and the 4 stage clearance process on a range of domestic, commercial and industrial properties. You will gain the necessary industry experience to enable you to gain the BOHS P403 and BOHS P404 qualifications, and the skills and knowledge to be able to carry out asbestos analytical services.
Although the role will be predominantly based in your region, the role will involve travelling around the country and working outside of regular hours on a rota basis (overtime is payable at competitive rates).
You will also need:
- Flexibility, a strong work ethic, and be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A full, clean UK driving licence.
