As an Estates Surveyor, you’ll be involved in surveying work, providing professional property expertise across aspects of our business.
You’ll work collaboratively within project teams helping to deliver a £5.4 billion programme of flood defence work that will protect 336,000 properties.
You’ll be involved at stages of project delivery from feasibility through to completion.
Your expertise will be applied to the management of a land and property portfolio, including property management, valuation and dealing with landlord and tenant issues helping to maximise income, enhance asset value and deliver commercial objectives.
As a confident negotiator, you’ll represent our interests with a broad customer and client base.
With an up-to-date knowledge of current legislation and best practice, you'll identify opportunities for sustainable revenue growth and provide technical guidance and support to members of your team.

Responding to incidents is an important part of what we do, and with this in mind you’ll have an incident role and should be ready to make yourself available to respond or provide business continuity support.
This may attract an additional payment, and full training and alternative working arrangements will be available to support you.
