You'll perform operational shifts working on our Coastal Survey Vessel Humber Guardian covering the coast between Berwick and Great Yarmouth. This will include extended periods and weekends working away from home. If you are not operational on a vessel you will manage data tasks and support projects.

The post is based in our Peterborough office but other EA base locations in the Midlands and the north of England will be considered; please contact us to discuss. The contract for the post is annualised hours and attracts a 15% shift allowance on top of basic salary. The successful applicant will be required to pass either an ML5 or ENG1 medical before employment. Failure to pass a medical will prevent the applicant from being employed. The role requires travelling between locations on a regular basis and as a result requires a full UK driving licence.

We are committed to having an inclusive workforce to reflect the communities we serve. We welcome flexible working patterns for all our vacancies.
