Operations Data Analyst

We're looking for a sharp, dependable Operations Data Analyst to join our team. You'll be the person who keeps our workforce data accurate, our working patterns compliant and our managers one step ahead. If you get a buzz from finding what others miss, we want to hear from you!
What you'll be doing
* Collecting and maintaining accurate records of start and finish times, rest periods and total hours worked * Using operational systems, including van trackers and CCTV where appropriate, to verify attendance and working times * Monitoring hours and rest periods against company policy, contractual requirements and working-time limits * Flagging potential breaches to Regional Managers on the same day, whether that's excessive hours, insufficient rest or fewer hours than contracted * Digging into the data to spot trends and recurring issues, like early finishes or shifting working patterns * Reviewing and reconciling overtime records against spreadsheets and operational data * Allocating and recording hours worked accurately, and resolving any discrepancies you uncover * Handling all data confidentially and in line with company procedures
What we're looking for
* Strong analytical and numerical skills * A high level of accuracy and a real eye for detail * Experience working with spreadsheets and operational data * Good Excel knowledge (or similar data-analysis tools) * The ability to spot trends, discrepancies and potential compliance issues * Strong organisation and time management * Confidence communicating findings and escalating issues to management * Discretion when working with sensitive employee and operational information
