Enviromena is a UK-based independent power producer (IPP) focused on the development, construction, ownership and operation of large-scale solar and battery storage projects across the UK and Europe.

As an IPP, Enviromena retains ownership of its assets throughout their full lifecycle, delivering clean, reliable power to communities and businesses.

We are seeking a commercially focused individual to join our team, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

This exciting, varied role will see the successful candidate work with all areas of the business to drive business growth.

You will be involved in managing corporate and financing models, appraisal models and preparing investment papers to support new opportunities.

You will be involved in leading the annual budget and reforecast process and tracking project progress against budgets and investment cases.

To succeed, you'll bring strong commercial awareness and analytical capability.

You will collaborate with Origination, Development, Asset Management, Commercial and Legal to support the full lifecycle of project delivery.

You'll provide commercial finance input in support of PPA and corporate PPA contract optimisation and structures.

This is a role where you'll build expertise, influence meaningful decisions and contribute to the growth of Enviromena.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

  • Work with the business development team on new solar opportunities, undertaking project appraisal modelling as required and providing insight on project returns, with suggestions for improvement where appropriate.
  • Work closely with origination and commercial colleagues, providing finance input into investment committee papers.
  • Maintain and administer updates to the corporate and financing models.
  • Undertake sensitivity analysis as the portfolio grows.
  • Maintain and administer the investment appraisal model in line with external market conditions, such as power prices and interest rate assumptions.
  • Lead the company annual budget and reforecasting process.
  • Support the relationship with LCCC in respect of Contracts for Difference (Cf D).
  • Assist in financial due diligence on M&A opportunities.
  • Provide insight to the Finance team to assist with the monthly variance analysis commentary.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Strong Excel and financial modelling skills, ideally with experience of managing complex financing models.
  • Understanding of renewable energy support mechanisms, including PPAs, Cf Ds, ROCs and REGOs, along with commercial CPPA/Cf D/RTM experience including contract execution.
  • Evaluating financial and business indicators to translate data into actionable information.
  • Building constructive and effective relationships with a broad and diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of reporting deliverables to senior stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail, strong organisational skills and time management.
  • CPA, ACCA, ACA or CFA qualified.
