We are currently seeking a passionate and knowledgeable SHEQ Advisor to join our team and ensure that these standards are not only met but exceeded.

In this role, you will be supporting the SHEQ manager in promoting a culture of SHEQ excellence throughout the organization, providing guidance and support to employees at all levels. Your expertise will help develop, implement, and maintain SHEQ management systems and practices, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SHEQ principles and practices, along with excellent communication and coaching skills. You will engage with staff to foster a proactive approach to risk management and continuous improvement, ultimately contributing to a safer and more efficient workplace.

Requirements
  • Significant experience in SHEQ roles in a manufacturing, construction, engineering environment - preferably in the water or wastewater industry.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and industry standards (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001).
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in risk assessment and management practices.
  • Experience in training and educating staff on SHEQ matters.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Relevant SHEQ certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are preferred.
